Welcome to yoga at In Stillness and Strength.
My approach is simple - to cultivate inner stillness and peace through the mindful practice of yoga, whilst also strengthening the body and enhancing flexibility.
When we make space in our lives for yoga, it rewards us richly. My desire is to create a space in classes where you can experience the joy of yoga and the peace that flows from that.
In our fast-paced world, stillness is rare. Finding ease and gentleness, slowing down, savouring the moment, connecting breath and movement - these are practices useful both on and off the yoga mat.
My focus is on embodied practice, feeling and knowing our bodies better, enjoying them, and accepting ourselves where we are, whatever our shape and whatever our bodies are capable of. In turn we will develop strength.

I teach classes on:
Tuesday evenings, 6-7pm and then again 7.30-8.30pm at the Quaker Meeting House, Quaker Lane, off Woodlands, Beverley (HU17 8BY).
Thursday afternoons, 3-4pm Yin yoga at Karinya Yoga https://www.karinyayoga.co.uk/
All classes are £8.
